Lynn commented he did look and is getting back to me with prices. Discussion on the rejuvenating process followed. First Selectman Eldredge asked Lynn to look at the bus trailer; it has a leak in the roof, something wrong with the floor and the hot water heater. WILLINGTON HILL FIRE DEPT. TRUCK
Mike Makuch, Willington Hill Fire Dept Chief, asked the Board to take the necessary steps to spend the CIP money for the pick up truck for their department. They have an approximate cost of $30,000 for a new truck; there is $26,000 in CIP for it. They want to put the trade in price for the old truck, that the Town gave them, towards the price of the new if that is okay with the Board. The Board agreed. The necessary steps will be taken to spend the money, staring with the next Board of Finance meeting.

GOOD & WELFARE

Both fire departments are communicating more and the training officers share their schedules and are working together. They hope to have a joint drill once a month and have joint response to calls. The Hill recruitment is going well they have about 35 active members. They are closing the fiscal year a little over budget and will report to the Board of Finance. Selectman Lewis asked that Willington Fire Dept. #1 be invited to the next regular Board meeting. This will be done.
